We provide Marshals for the Patriots Day Parade. Explorer Post 911 helps at many other scheduled town events as needed. We have assisted Arlington Auxiliary Fire Department at major fire scenes within the town. The Post provides medical assistance during many Council and District Boy Scout events.
Arlington Emergency Management is currently in charge of four vehicles, Lighting 1, Lighting 2, K100 and E-500. The two lighting plants are specially designed trucks, which have built in power generators; these allow us to supply lighting at emergencies and power for vendors at town events. K100 is an Emergency Response Golf Cart, used to transport personnel and victims during emergencies. E-500 or Arlington Air Supply is a specially designed truck which allow Arlington Emergency Management to refill at a fire the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) tanks that Fire Fighters depend on to breath. All of these apparatus are have very important roles and we are proud to operate them.
